This is a rather new and amazing addition to the alcohol ink range, the Alcohol Ink Pearls. These alcohol inks have a pearl effect in the bottle so no need to mix them up with mica powders.
The inks will give you the vibrant alcohol ink colour combined with a gorgeous pearlescent effect to add some shine to your projects.
(All supplies are linked to different stores at the end of this post in the thumbnails. The different stores are also linked behind the product name. Among them are affiliate links that may be used at no cost to you.)
Because the ink is a mix of alcohol ink and mica powder, you have to shake these ink before using, the little ball inside will help mix the alcohol and pearl part. You’ll see some pretty cool techniques and get more information in the Alcohol Pearl Ink Texture Techniques video.
If you haven’t seen it yet, be sure to watch the video to see all techniques at work. You’ll get tips and some fun and easy ways to use the inks.
If you like the Alcohol Ink Pearls and want to keep track or want to have the right colour right at hand to choose from, here’s a colour chart for you. You can download your own Alcohol Ink Pearl Colour Chart here, to print out and fill up with your favourite colours.
Alcohol Ink Storage and organization
when you like using the alcohol inks, you will find some sort of storage system would be convenient. I highly recommend the Ranger Ink – Alcohol Ink Storage Tin( SBC | ELH | JGG | RNG ), it stores up to 30 bottles and hold them all in place.
You’ll find when using them the tip over pretty easy, so make sure to close the bottle right away after using!
With the added colour dots on the cap it’ll give you a great overview and you can see the exact colour you’re get.
