Hi lovely crafty friends, today I have two different double cards with pockets, both in a vintage style and very easy to create.
The pockets are super simple to make and will give you the option to add something extra on the inside of the card, you can even use them as a mini-album
In the video tutorial, you’ll see two different ways to make cards with pockets both very quick and easy.
You’ll learn how to make the base and then I finish it with the gorgeous Stamperia Paper Pads – Around The World ( JGG ), from the Romantic Collection – Passion ( JGG ) and Stamperia the Collectables – Passion ( JGG )
(All supplies are linked to different stores at the end of this post in the thumbnails. The different stores are also linked behind the product name. Among them are affiliate links that may be used at no cost to you.)
The base for both cards are the sturdy Joggles Envelopes ( JGG ). They can take quite some fluid mediums and still stand their ground, making them perfect for Mixed Media projects.
To add some colour to the white envelopes I used Cosmic Shimmer Botanical Stains ( JGG ). The colours from this fluid dye ink has a bit of a vintage feel to them, which make them a perfect match for the Stamperia papers. They are also very easy to work with and you can make a gorgeous background in no time.
For this envelope card, I used the Stamperia 8″ x 8″ Paper Pad – Around The World ( JGG )
This is the first envelope card on the inside, with more layers and pockets on each side.
This is the double envelope card with Passion paper pad. These envelopes are attached together in a bit of a different way than the first card, creating some more space on the inside which I liked even better than the first card.
Here is the inside of the second envelope card, with the pockets on the outside edge. The pockets will be great for adding something extra, like a gift card or some pictures. This would even make a pretty mini album.
Now you are ready and prepared to give these envelope cards a try, have lots of fun! Thanks for stopping by and make sure to keep on crafting!
