Hi lovely crafty friends, today I have something I always seem to forget about. I do love it but somehow it’s not the first thing that comes to mind, vellum.
Almost everyone has it and it’s so versatile and affordable too. So let’s check out a few ways to use it.
All techniques and ideas are shown in the video tutorial. Make sure to watch it to get all the best tips and tricks.

Vellum makes a perfect backdrop for sentiments, you can even use up some scraps.
On this background I used Tim Holtz Embossing Folder – Crackle ( SBC ) to emboss the vellum and then add colour with the Dylusions spray. With a piece of kitchen paper or cloth, you can add a tiny bit without making the vellum too wet.
Weaving some vellum through coloured pieces of card creates a very interesting and fun background.
A combination of colouring and layering is also a super cool way to use vellum. Together with a printed sentiment, this makes a fun card.
If you like using word strips or sentiments on your cards and projects as I do, then make sure to dive into the Treasure Trunk. Because that is the place where you can find all Gerry’s Gems, fun freebies to help you in your crafty adventure.
And finally, an Art Journal page as this was another fun project I did with my friend Ardyth, it’s always cool to make a reminder of that. This way when I see it it will take me back to this project again.
Thanks for stopping by and make sure to keep on crafting!
