Hi lovely crafty friends, today I have something super fun and colourful. I have a cool way to make your own magic scratch paper and make it work with any colour medium. You’ll also learn a way how you can get started rigth away without the wait.
And I will show you what not to do, which can also be helpful:-)
All techniques and ideas are shown in the video tutorial. Make sure to watch it to get all the best tips and tricks.
(All supplies are linked to different stores at the end of this post in the thumbnails. The different stores are also linked behind the product name. Among them are affiliate links that may be used at no cost to you.)
The cool thing about this technique is that you can use any coloring medium you prefer. It will work not only with crayons like we did in kindergarten, but also with Derwent Coloursoft Pencils ( BLIC ) and Amsterdam Acrylic Paints ( BLIC )
You can use watercolour paint or Gelatos ( SBC | BLIC ) and markers, basically anything you normally use to add colour is an option.
With the second hack you don’t even have to wait and you can use any tool you have on hand to make a fun pattern. Like a pointy tool you need for usual scratch paper, you can go way beyond that. The Dina Wakley – Media Tool ( JGG ) is a fun tool to make funky marks or you can use it to draw.
But there are so much more options and once you get started, you’ll see more and more possibilities.
Have lots of fun making your own colourful scratch paper. Thanks for stopping by and make sure to keep on crafting!
