Hi lovely crafty friends, today I have cards with easy Alcohol Ink Backgrounds to share. Alcohol inks are fun and super easy to use and yo can create gorgeous cards with no effort at all. And there are lots of different ways to use the alcohol inks, I share a few today.

(All supplies are linked to different stores at the end of this post in the thumbnails. The different stores are also linked behind the product name. Affiliate links may be used at no cost to you.)

Working with alcohol ink doesn’t have to be messy or hard, I show you a few very simple ways to create gorgeous backgrounds in a jiffy that are super easy. And I give you tips along the way so you can create your own, so be sure to watch the video to see how this is done.

I did another video with alcohol inks where I show you a ghost stamping technique, so if you haven’t seen the Ghost Image Stamping On Alcohol Ink Backgrounds video yet, make sure to check it out.

I keep them in a Ranger Ink – Tim Holtz – Alcohol Ink Storage Tin ( SBCand
if you have these inks you know they tip over real easy. Y
ou don’t need a tin
like this but I recommend some sort of storage system that makes you see them
easy and that keeps them together.

I made all backgrounds on Yupo Paper ( SBC ) and for this background I used Tim Holtz – Alcohol Ink – Clover ( SBC | JGG | RNG ) Pistachio ( SBC | CST | RNG | JGG )

Citrus ( SBC | JGG | RNG ) and Limeade ( RNG | JGG )
Here are two of the cards I made with some fun details made with die-cuts.
I kept this one real simple so the background really shows. For the sentiment I cut out of black card I used the Tim Holtz – Alphanumeric Label ( SBC | CRF | CST | SZZ ) and some Nuvo – Crystal Drops – Dirty Bronze ( SBC | CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC )
On this card I used some older dies Tim Holtz – Thinlits Die – Labels ( SBC | SZZ )  with Tim Holtz – Ticket Booth ( SBC | CST | CRF | SZZ ) combined with the new Tim Holtz – Christmas Circle Words ( SBC | CRF | CST | SZZ ) that I coloured with Ranger Ink – Embossing Powder – Lime Tinsel ( SBC | RNG ) and Distress Oxides Spray – Twisted Citron ( SBC | CST | CRF | RNG
For this background I used a combination of  Tim Holtz – Alcohol Ink – Lettuce ( SBC | JGG | RNG ) Stream ( SBC | JGG | RNG ) Patina ( RNG | JGG ) and Alcohol Ink – Pearl – Sublime ( SBC | RNG | JGG )
I used one of the sheets
to cut the Tim Holtz – 3D Impresslits – Leaf ( SBC | CRF | CST | SZZ ) and this is really cool
because it’s a 3d
embossing folder and die in one.
For these leaves I used a sanding tool to make the veins stand out more, you can use fine grain
sanding paper too or a sanding block. I used the ticket booth die again with the Alphanumeric Label for the sentiment.

Here I added a layer of Nuvo – Embellishment Mousse – Indian Gold( SBC | CRF | CST | TNC | TNCUK ) on the Tim Holtz – 3D Impresslits – Leaf ( SBC | CRF | CST | SZZ ) to make the veins stand out more.

On this background I used Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink Patina ( RNG | JGG ) Limeade ( RNG | JGG ) Clover ( SBC | JGG | RNG )
and Alcohol Inks – Pearl – Sublime ( SBC | RNG | JGGThe Pearl ink gives a nice shine over the paper.

For these cards I used more dies to decorate, the super cool leaves again and some Christmas dies on the other card used in a non-Christmas way, great to stretch your products.

On this card I used the leaves with Craft Perfect Glitter Card Welsh Gold ( CST | CRF | TNCUK | TNC ) and the detail is just amazing also on the glitter card.

And on the last card I used Tim Holtz – Christmas Circle Word ( SBC | CRF | CST | SZZ )Sizzix – and the Tim Holtz Large Funky Festive ( SBC | CST | CRF ) to add some greenery.
