I have a bunch of simple and doable techniques that will get you started.

One colour ink techniques are always fun and simple.
The new Pixie Sparkles give you loads of colour and shimmer with very little effort and it’s super pretty to watch the colours move:-)
Sprays are always great for simple, textured and pretty backgrounds, no fuss with blending, the sprays do all the work for you.
using ink with acetate for some simple smooching will give you gorgeous watercolour like backgrounds.
Three for one and cleaning disguised as crafting are perfect for when you are a bit lazy, less effort more fun:-)
Pretty is always great and the dylusions shimmer sprays are exactly that. Combined with the spray stain or a oxide ink with the chalky finish will give you something pretty to watch while blending.
And even though you have to shake the shimmer spray, it’s totally worth it to me. And with this technique, you get three for one again, which is always great.
