Hi lovely crafty friends, making Christmas cards is always something special. No matter if you like sparkle, glitter or not, they are different than the cards we make throughout the year.
Wether you are bulk card maker or not, I bet you have some people who get an extra super pretty card. Of course I have some of those people too. I am going to show you what I do to make the cards in a way that the receivers know I made them especially for them.
(All supplies are linked to different stores at the end of this post in the thumbnails. The different stores are also linked behind the product name. Among them are affiliate links that may be used at no cost to you.)
In this video I’m going to show you how I make the cards for my favorite people. I use lots of different techniques and share how I love to make cards with something extra. I create them thinking about the receiver and tell how I go about that.
If you like some more Christmas card inspiration and you haven’t seen the Foiled Christmas cards post yet. It has some fun new foil techniques, so make sure to check it out!
I used Craft Perfect – Glitter Card – Welsh Gold ( TNCUK | TNC ) for one layer. On the big flake are Distress Oxide ink – Antique Linen ( SBC | JGG ) and Embossing Glaze – Antique Linen ( SBC | ELH | JGG )
And then I add the parts to a piece of gold glitter card. In the open spaces I added back some of the white inked snowflakes to get some variety
I have another to more cards to share with you next week, for my mom and dad and my sister and her husband. So make sure to check back.
Thanks for stopping by and make sure to keep on crafting!
