Hi lovely crafty friends, today I have a super cool and fast way to make some backgrounds. I love ink sprays and trying different ways to use them is so much fun.
When I came across this technique I had to share it right away, you’ll want to try this yourself for sure.
All techniques and ideas are shown in the video tutorial. Make sure to watch it to get all the best tips and tricks.
(All supplies are linked to different stores at the end of this post in the thumbnails. The different stores are also linked behind the product name. Among them are affiliate links that may be used at no cost to you.)
For the first card, I used a blue colour scheme, from light, bright to dark. The elements I used came from an Art By Marlene – Die Cut Block Lime ( JGG ). With the ready to take out pieces you can make a pretty design in a jiffy.
The circles are from the Just Lou Mindful Moodling Collection – Clear Stamp Set ( JGG ) stamped on white card with black ink. Then I fussy cut them and used them like that for some contrast.
The sentiment is from an Art By Marlene Artsy Arabia Sticker Pad – Quotes ( JGG ) from my stash. This one is from an older collection, but they still work and are great to add a sentiment quickly.
For the last card I used all the colours together. Combined with the Art By Marlene – Rubber Stamp Set – Dotty Flowers Mix & Match ( JGG ) that I stamped and fussy cut and then added to the card. The flower stamp set has lots of fun elements to play around with and use in multiple ways.
I hope you are inspired to grab those sprays and make pretty backgrounds without spraying, enjoy. Thanks for stopping by and make sure to keep on crafting!
