Hi lovely crafty friends, I am going to take you on a little trip, I am going to show you how I go about trying and testing a product that I like.
This week I will be playing with Mica Powder and you can explore the possibilities of Mica Powder right alongside me. You’ll learn the basics about mica powder and you’ll see loads of techniques doable for crafters at every level.
All techniques, tips and ideas are shown in the video tutorial. Make sure to watch it to get all the best tips and tricks.

Experimenting gave me a whole bunch of wonderful, colourful backgrounds and amazing textures. And don’t get me even started on that sparkle and shine.
Mica Powders create so much interest to backgrounds and other projects without much effort.
My favourite Mica Powder are Cosmic Shimmer Pixie Powder ( SBC | JGG ) and Cosmic Shimmer Pixie Sparkles ( SBC | JGG ) Both for the wonderful range of colours, you can choose from and for availability.
Another Brand I like but is a bit harder to come by are Nuvo Shimmer Powders ( SBC | SSS ) There are also fewer colours to choose from.
And one of the powders that have been along for quite some time are Lindys Magicals ( SBC | SSS ) Another good quality Mica Powder that comes in a jar instead of a bottle. I am familiar with their powders as they are also used for the famous Lindy’s Sprays. The Lindy’s Sprays come in a spray bottle with the mica powder and you need to add water yourself.
If you have never used Mica Powders it’s totally worth it to give them a try, they are super cool for sure!
Thanks for stopping by and make sure to keep on crafting!
