Hi lovely crafty friends, last week I took you on a little trip, where I showed you how I go about trying and testing a product that I like.

This week I will have another playing session with Mica Powder and more cool ways to use it. Again you can explore the possibilities of Mica Powder right alongside me.

Today I will kick it up a nudge and focus on a more Mixed Media approach. Again I will take you by the hand and guide you through the different techniques.

All techniques and ideas are shown in the video tutorial. Make sure to watch it to get all the best tips and tricks.

If you haven’t seen the first All about Mica Powder video yet, make sure to check it out.

(All supplies are linked to different stores at the end of this post in the thumbnails. The different stores are also linked behind the product name. Among them are affiliate links that may be used at no cost to you.

For this background I used Cosmic Shimmer Pixie Powder ( SBC | JGG | ECS ) with Ranger Ink – Tim Holtz – Distress Grit Paste ( SBC | JGG | SSS ) combined with an Art By Marlene Stencil.

The new Art By Marlene Stencils and other products from the Back To Nature line are available at Joggles, Simon Says Stamp both in the US and Ecstacy Crafts In Canada.

Pixie Powder colouring with the powders turned into a custom-made watercolour paint. These two SL Clear Grunge Seahorse Stamps were coloured in that way.

There are so many cool options and ways to use those Mica Powders, you will never get bored with them!

Make sure to watch the video to see all the best techniques and get some great tips along the way. So you can get the most out of your powders as well!

Thanks for stopping by and make sure to keep on crafting!
