Hi lovely crafty friends, today I have another project for the Rubber Dance Design team using the August Colour challenge colour scheme. I made a background with Masking Fluid and Nuvo Aqua Flow Pens, it’s been a while since I used them so it was about time again:-)

My Sandstone is a bit lighter than the one from the colour scheme but sometimes you just work with what you have and get the colour that’s the most close. I made lines with Nuvo – Masking Fluid ( SBC | CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC ) on Craft Perfect – Watercolour Card ( TNCUK | TNC ) and used Nuvo Aqua flow Pens to add colour.

Nuvo – Masking Fluid ( SBC | CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC ) comes in a bottle with a fine tip and is super easy to work with, it’s great to block parts of a project while adding another or more colour.

  I used Aqua Flow – Clear Water and Vanilla Sundae from the Ocean Air set ( SBC | CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC ) and Aqua Splash from the from the Summer Holiday set ( SBC | CST | CRF | TNCUK | TNC )

I used the Rubber Dance Grungy Butterflies ( RBB ) and Old Book Page ( RBB ) stamps on this page. I stamped the butterflies with Tim Holtz – Distress Archival Mini Ink Pad ( SBC ) Hickory Smoke it comes in a set of three and matches the same colour from the Distress ink range.

I used the Tim Holtz – Stamp Platform ( SBC | TNCUK | CST ) to stamp the butterflies a few times in the same spot, this helps to get a nice dark image and because I worked on Watercolour Card ( TNCUK | TNC ) which has some texture you will get a perfect stamped image. I stamped the sentiment that’s also from the Grungy Butterflies set on Craft Perfect Ultra Smooth Card ( CST | CRF | TNCUK | TNC ) with gives a perfect image and is great for stamping.
And I doodled along the sentiment with Sakura Micron Black Fineliner ( SBC | CST ) for a fun detail and to make it stand out more.
