one colour ink

Hi lovely crafty friends, today I have something fun again, I have teamed up with a bunch of crafty friends and we are all keeping it simple.

With just one colour ink it’s possible to create some pretty cards and it’s not hard at all.

In the video I show you a bunch of different techniques that you can use to add layers with only one colour ink. Below are the pictures of the finished cards as well as some close-ups.

All supplies are linked to different stores at the end of this post in the thumbnails. The different stores are also linked behind the product name. Among them are affiliate links that may be used at no cost to you.

Let’s start with pink, I used Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry ( SBC | JGG ) as my ink for the layers. to create some texture and extra interest I used the Art By Marlene – Marlene’s World Mask ( JGG | ECS )

Like the next person, I just love FREE stuff, who doesn’t. So I wanted to give you a heads up on this super cool FREEBIE over at Joggles, you’ll get a free roll of Tim Holtz Design tape aka washi tape.

For each $15 spent on products other than gift certificates, so that is for every $15 spend you get one roll, this will be automatically added to your order.

When you’re want to stock some new supplies or like to check it out, hop on over to Joggles.com they have super cool stuff.

For this card, I used three different techniques with Distress Ink Salvaged Patina ( SBC | JGG ) one of the newer colours in the distress range.

The pattern on the second panel is made with the Thinlits Die – Folk Flowers ( SBC ) and the sentiment with the older Sizzix – Thinlits Die – Christmas Circle Words ( SBCthat I still like to use.

To colour the background I used the gorgeous Dylusions Shimmer Spray – Fresh Lime ( SBC | JGG ) and a The Crafter’s Workshop Stencil – Collarette Dahlia ( SBC | JGG ) for some subtle texture.
