Hi lovely crafty friends, one of the coolest things to make are shadow box cards, the depth and the layers are so cool to play around with.
I already found this mesmerising in Kindergarten when we made our shadow boxes out of shoeboxes.
This shadowbox card is pretty easy to make from scratch. How to make one from start to finish is shown in the video tutorial. Make sure to watch it to get all the best tips and tricks.
(Below are some closeups of the shadowbox card. All supplies are linked to different stores at the end of this post in the thumbnails. The different stores are also linked behind the product name. Among them are affiliate links that may be used at no cost to you.)
For this card I used the gorgeous Stamperia 12″ x 12″ Paper Pad Sea Dream ( JGG ) The pad has many options for backgrounds as well as adding details.
The card was made with one 12 x 12 paper, the big white flower and the blue cluster in the back are fussy cut.
The seal and sea shells are Chipboard Stickers – Sea Dream ( JGG ) good for some instant added dimension.
This card is only two layers, but you can add more layers if you want to. Just use the same technique and “layer away” 🙂
This video is part of a huge global campaign to raise $30M to remove 30M pounds of plastic and trash from our ocean, rivers and beaches. If you want to know more, donate and be part of the team you can go to: https://teamseas.org/
Together we can do this, go #TeamSeas!
