Hi lovely crafty friends, cards can easily be made more interesting with fun folds. Combine that with the popular slimline size and you’ll get you some cool card bases.
Let’s go over a few simple ones and use up some scraps in the meantime.
All techniques and ideas are shown in the video tutorial. Make sure to watch it to get all the best tips and tricks. Below are pictures and close-ups from the cards I made in the video.
(All supplies are linked to different stores at the end of this post in the thumbnails. The different stores are also linked behind the product name. Among them are affiliate links that may be used at no cost to you.)
The patterned paper I used for all cards is from the Stamperia Alice In Wonderland Collection ( JGG | SSS ). These papers have lots of different colours and patterns making them lots of fun to play with.
To create the focal points on the cards I used a bunch of strips and scraps. Making pretty clusters like this is a great way to use up parts you cut off right away.
Instead of putting them aside in a bag or a drawer to use later which we all know hardly ever happens, LOL.
To go along with the video I put together a PDF for you to download with all the measurements. Because I wanted to keep things simple for you I have them in inches and centimetres. You can grab your Slimline Fun Fold PDF by dropping in your info below ⬇️
I hope you like browsing through the different Fun Folds and are ready to give it a try. Make sure to grab the PDF with all the sizes to refer back to.
Thanks for stopping by and make sure to keep on crafting!
