Hi lovely crafty friends, today I have another art journal page for my mini album it’s almost filled. I did some easy multi colour layering with Distress Oxide inks, Rubber Dance stamps and a Tim Holtz Stencil.

On this page I did another way of layering with stamps and a stencil this time and all these techniques or a page like this can also be used on a card. I used Distress Oxides Ink Spun Sugar ( SBC | CST | CRF | JGG ) Cracked Pistachio ( SBC | CST | CRF | JGG ) and Salty Ocean ( SBC | CRF | JGG ) to colour the background with the Tim Holtz – Layering Stencil – Tiles ( SBC ).

I stamped the Grungy Butterfly ( RBB ) with Nuvo Embossing ink ( TNCUK | TNC ) 
Using the Tonic Studios – Tim Holtz – Stamp Platform( SBC | CST | TNCUK )
 
and heat embossed it with Nuvo Embossing Powder Jet Black( SBC | CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC ) I used Distress Oxide Black Soot ( SBC | CRF | JGG ) with a 
Nuvo Nylon Brush ( SBC | CST | TNCUK | TNC ) to colour the butterfly.

I used the Old Book Page stamp ( RBB ) to add texture through the stencil. This gives a fun and subtle texture and some black accents as contrast for the soft colours. I used an old gift card again with Black Soot ( SBC | CRF | JGG ) to add some lines.

I added the some words with the Mix A Sentiment ( RBB ) these were stamped on Craft Perfect Ultra Smooth Card ( CRF | CST | TNCUK | TNC ) with Tsukineko – VersaFine – Instant Dry Pigment Ink Pad – Onyx Black ( SBC | CST | CST | BLT )
