Hi lovely crafty friends, today I have some cards to show you it’s not hard at all to make cards for men.
Stop overthinking it and just make cards for people, that will be so very helpful. That also may help you out of that place where you are stuck for ideas and make some awesome cards that will work for anyone.
All techniques and ideas are shown in the video tutorial. Make sure to watch it to get all the best tips and tricks. Below are the cards I made along with some close-ups.

The first card had some nice colour gradients made with the gorgeous The Crafter’s Workshop – Stencil Butter – Turquoise ( SBC | JGG ) and Terre Verte ( SBC | JGG ) combined with the Jenine’s Mindful Art New Awakening – Stencil ( JGG ).
The sturdy black card panel is a Joggles Smooth & Sturdy Black 5″ x 7″ Index Card ( JGG ) which is a great base to work on with pastes en even sprays.
For the second card I used the Tim Holtz 3D Embossing Folder – Mechanics ( SBC ) to get some texture down on the background.
Then gently added a layer of Cosmic Shimmer – Resist Paste ( SBC | JGG ) and coloured the card with Dylusions Spray – Vibrant Turquoise ( SBC | JGG ) and Cut Grass ( SBC | JGG ).
To get a fun grungy, vintage and weathered look I added Cosmic Shimmer Mixed Media Embossing Powder – Jurassic ( JGG ) in different spots. With the different colours and chunkier bits, it sticks to the resist paste and gives a super cool effect.
