Coloured stripes are a great way to make a pretty background, to use up loads of scraps and create some interest for your backgrounds from scratch. For these cards that the base with some added circles and squares, super simple but with a great effect.

Making a cardstock striped background on thin printing paper makes it easy to cut and you can keep the weigth down if you want to send it through snail mail.
Just a few circles with a simple sentiment, you don’t need much more to make a pretty card.
A big sentiment and some drops in black always make the colours of the rest of the card pop.
Cutting the squares, turn them and putting them back in place create a super cool effect, real easy.
